At The Heights we believe that our pupils have a right to be heard and to influence school life. We encourage all of our pupils to have a strong voice and involve them in the decision-making process.
At The Heights:
- pupil participation is integral to the school’s vision and ethos;
- there are clear structures in place to capture pupils’ views;
- pupils have a range of opportunities to influence decisions which affect them.
For this reason we hold whole school pupil voice assemblies once every half-term to capture the thoughts of every pupil on key aspects.
Pupils are asked for suggestions and consulted about various issues in school and this information is then responded to by the Senior Leadership Team.
